If you like the printability of PLA but are looking for a significant increase in toughness and lower stiffness then our Tough PLA will be a good candidate.
The material can be processed at slightly higher temperature then regular PLA, but still offers easy printing and no warping of bottom layers.
At colorFabb we have a well-equipped 3d printing studio with many popular 3d printers. Our grade of Economy PLA has been tested using various 3D printers, which has resulted in the following recommended settings.
Adviced 3d printing temperature:
210C-230C
Adviced 3d print speed:
40-50 mm/s
Advised Heated bed (if you have one, not strictly necessary):
50-60C
Cooling fan
Use the least amount of cooling for best layer-to-layer adhesion. For better overhang performance use 50-100% cooling.
